Vivian 'Viv' Allen is one of the main characters of the Netflix television series October Faction. She is portrayed by Aurora Burghart.
Early Life[]
Viv was born during the raid of Harlow. She is the daughter of Alice and Omari, and the twin of Geoff Allen. After giving birth, Alice went to check on Omari and left her and Geoff alone for a few minutes. While she was gone, Deloris and Fred find the twins wrapped up in blankets and decide to take them in as their own and save them, setting up a bomb to cover their tracks from the Presidio Foundation, making Alice believe her children were dead.
Personality[]
Vivian is not as extroverted as her brother. Expanding her mind is more important to her than making fake friends. The fact that her parents think she needs to practice at people, upsets her.
Trust and honesty are essential for Vivian. When she finally warmed up to Cathy, she told her about foreshadowing the bus incident in her drawings. She was very hurt when Cathy told that secret to Madison.
Vivian cares for the people she loves and senses when something is off. Her empathy goes to the point where she questions the evil of monsters, calling her parents profession as violent and one-sided.
Both Geoff and her are very self-aware and point out the white dominant school they go to, referring to the situation as "white privileged HQ".
Powers & Abilities[]
- Immortality: As a warlock, though physically mortal, she has an immortal soul.
- Blood Magic: As a warlock, Viv has a supernatural connection to the rest of her race. This allows her to perform magical feats which are even amplified when in collaboration with her twin brother, Geoff.
- Telekinesis: Through her blood magic Viv and her brother have learned how to move and manipulate objects and people with their minds.
- Clairvoyance: Viv inherited the ability to draw and even perceive the future from her mother.
