October Faction is an American science fiction drama series, based on the eponymous comic series by Steve Niles and Damien Worm. It premiered on Netflix on January 23th 2020.
On March 30, 2020, it was announced that Netflix has canceled October Faction.[1]
Synopsis[]
October Faction follows the story of "globetrotting monster hunters Fred and Deloris Allen who, after the death of Fred’s father, return to their hometown in upstate New York with their teenage children Geoff and Viv. As the family adjusts, Fred and Deloris must hide their identities as members of a secret organization, and our heroes quickly discover that their new small-town setting isn’t as idyllic as it seems".

Development[]
On September 28, 2018, it was announced that Netflix had given the production a series order for a first season consisting of ten episodes.[2][3] The series was created by Damian Kindler who will also act as writer and executive producer. Additional executive producers are set to include James Thorpe, Steve Niles, Thomas Walden, Eric Birnberg, George Strayton and Melissa Blake. Production companies involved with the series include High Park Entertainment and IDW Entertainment.[4] On March 30, 2020, Netflix cancelled the series after one season.[1]
